It took a few months after the announcement but as of now Yuri Arcurs images are no longer available on Fotolia. They were removed from Shutterstock shortly after the announcement, and this is the second agency that will no longer offer his images for sale.

His images are still available on many other microstock sites but I assume this is a matter of time (and contracts). Actually I am amazed to see that Depositphotos is still advertising his images and portfolio on their own site. If I was running an agency I certainly would consider if it’s worth my time and money to advertise a contributor who already said they are going to leave us soon. 😉
